Howdy Bill, I love the satellite feed. I live in the woods in
the middle of nowhere in southcentral Georgia. I am only fourty
one, so I missed the heyday of oldtime radio. There is nothing
more enjoyable to me than sitting back in my recliner after the
wife and kid has gone to bed and listening to your fine station.
I have even taped some of the programs and taken them with me
when I go camping. Talk about nice... sitting around a campfire
and listening to a good mystery at night with the crickets
chirping in the background. I only wish that someone would do to
old tv broadcasts what you have done to old radio. Imagine
watching an old "Tonight Show" or "Ernie Kovacs" show at night.
One of your biggest fans, Ray P.S. Keep up the good work!

Since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by old-time radio. I
think its legacy is storytelling in the classic fashion, via

I've listened to another website featuring old time radio for
about two years. In looking for another website, I ran across
yours. It seems you have more variety. I am sixty years old and
remember vividly the late 40's and 50's before the proliferation
of television and the death of old time radio programs. Some of
my favorites were: "I Love a Mystery"; "X Minus One"; "Inner
Sanctum"; "The Whistler"; and "Moon Over Africa"--not to mention
"Fibber Magee and Molly". Hopefully in listening to what you
have to offer will feature some of these programs.

Thank you for keeping alive the history and the joy of radio
broadcasting. I personally love westerns and the great detective
series (like 'Johnny Dollar'). I am not as much into the music,
but it is ALL good. As an Amateur Radio operator (http://hfradio.org),
I feel that all forms of radio communication needs to be
remembered, since we learn from the past. We have today what we
have as a result of the ground-breaking innovation of yesterday.
Radio show creation has led us to the writing of today's movies,
tv shows, and other forms of drama and literature. Again, thank
you for this service.

Found your network while doing a search. Now I listen all day at
my work place. It helps the day pass a little easier. It is hard
sometimes to keep from laughing out loud while listening to
Fibber Magee and Molly and some of the other comedy programs.
Love the drama shows also. Is there any way that you could
broadcast the CBS mystery theator shows? I loved these as a kid,
note: I am 47 years young. I remember listening to these shows
long after my bedtime, around 10:00 PM, on my small transistor
radio stuffed under my pillow. I think that the radio people are
missing out on chance to introduce a new generation to the
wonders of "the theater of the mind" with newly produced
programs. More and more people are on the go nowadays and have
less time to watch TV, I know that is the case for me. What
better way to have their programs more portable, can't take a TV
with you while you jog, walk the dog, etc. They even could make
their programs to be downloaded for MP3, per subscription or for
free with a few commercails thrown in. I know I would. Well
enough of my rambling, just wanted to drop you all a note to say
how much I enjoy your network. And to thank all of the people
involved that take the time and care to preserve the past.

When I first discovered "YESTERDAY USA", I got a good "eye
washing". I could not believe my ears. How wonderful to be able
to relive radio program memories of my youth. God Bless Bill and
all who make these "old time radio" shows available, not only
for people like me, but also for nursing homes. Can you imagine
how lonely life can be when tucked away in places like that? I'm
so thankful to hear that generosity extended to those who have
come before us and paved the road of life for the rest of
us....God Bless America!

Wilmington, DE,
Thank you very much for this web site. My husband and I are both
visually impaired and it is nice to really use our imaginations
again to conjure up what is going on in a particular show. Do
you ever broadcast such shows as the Railroad Hour, Grand
Central Station, and Lux Radio Theater. Also, as a very young
child, I used to listen to Ma Perkins, When a Young Girl
Marries, The Romance of Helen Trent, Porcia Faces Life, and
Lorenzo Jones. When I taught at the Maryland School for the
Blind, I used to use recordings of The Shadow, etc. to get my
students to use their imaginations in class discussions and
creative writing exercise. They never realized they were
learning anything. They just knew they loved them! I am so
grateful to you at this time of national tragedy.

Just visited your website after seeing it mentioned in the most
recent INSIGHT magazine article. Tuned in to find an old-time
serial radio broadcast which filled my mind with nostalgic
memories. I will be back again and again, you may be sure. Thank
you for your thoughtfulness with great talents, and may God
Bless your mission/ministry... DaveAustin

I don't know what show I was listening to, but I thought of
myself on my Mothers lap, and her gently rocking to and fro.
Now, I'm 53 years old and she is in a nursing home slowly
finding God.

Great programing. OTR is the theatre of the mind, This stuff
blows away anything being produced now. Now lum!

I've enjoyed surfing your site, and have even sent two of my
friends/colleagues links from the "Fun Stuff" section of the
newspaper. I tuned in for a moment tonight, thinking that my
daddy (Chem Terry's) program was being aired tonight. (I've
saved the program grid and the schedule, but I just haven't
printed it off, yet.) Interesting web site!
